Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Pre‑Contract – Buildings

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join its pre‑contract team in Dubai. You will support newly awarded projects across a range of sectors, handling commercial and contractual duties from the early stages of construction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post‑contract commercial administration, including re‑measurement and payment application assessments.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, variations, and contractor claim evaluations.
• Handle provisional sums, prime costs, nominated sub‑contractors, and insurance/bond administration.
• Attend design and commercial meetings to ensure alignment between technical and financial aspects.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 2 years post‑degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and a background in consultancy or client roles.
• Sector experience in hospitality, residential, buildings or infrastructure.
• Proficiency in QS software such as Cost X.
