Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a highly motivated Internal Audit Manager to lead the audit function for its MENA entities. Based in Dubai, you will report directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit and provide independent assurance over governance, risk management and controls across Treasury, Finance, Operations and Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the annual audit plan for MENA legal entities, including risk assessments and audit universe updates.
• Support the internal audit assurance framework with continuous‑improvement monitoring and automated audit routines using AI and data analytics.
• Deliver and oversee audit engagements, ensuring timely and relevant outcomes.
• Document and communicate audit findings, risk exposures and recommendations to senior management, the regional board and risk committees.
• Track remediation actions, measure effectiveness of improvements and report progress to oversight bodies.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, the board and local regulators, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Promote a robust control culture and embed meaningful assurance programs.

Required profile

• Significant experience in internal audit, preferably within a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Proven ability to plan, execute and oversee complex audit projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
