Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will provide independent assurance that JD.COM’s risk management, governance and control processes operate effectively across its Dubai operations. The role involves evaluating financial and operational risks, advising senior management on improvements, and delivering evidence‑based reports to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements, including data analysis, testing and review of financial statements.
• Evaluate internal control systems and ensure compliance with applicable laws and US GAAP.
• Perform risk assessments, detect discrepancies and investigate potential fraud or financial irregularities.
• Prepare and present audit reports to management of the audited area.
• Collaborate with external auditors and legal service providers during statutory audits and regulatory assessments.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on remedial actions.
• Stay current with industry regulations and best practices in internal auditing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification such as AICPA, CIA or CA.
• 6+ years of internal audit or related financial experience; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese, with high ethical standards and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data analysis tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
