Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will conduct comprehensive audits of store operations, business and accounting processes across the UAE and GCC. The role ensures that company policies and procedures are effectively implemented, focusing on security, loss prevention, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Visit stores regularly (at least monthly) to perform operational and financial audits.
• Draft, review, and enforce loss‑prevention processes and related procedures.
• Verify daily cash handling, foreign currency accounting, and petty‑cash management.
• Audit manual billing, voids, returns, refunds, staff discounts, and gift‑voucher accounting.
• Check security systems, store key controls, and attendance recording compliance.
• Review payments, receivables, P&L statements, and bank reconciliations.
• Investigate theft, malpractice, and fraud, providing detailed reports to management.
• Lead loss‑prevention training and risk‑assessment surveys for all company premises.

Required profile

• University graduate, preferably with a degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Relevant experience in audit, loss prevention, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of loss‑prevention procedures and methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive business reporting abilities.
• Strong English communication skills.
