Inventory Assistant

About the role

We are a fast‑growing logistics and import‑export firm operating across the UAE, focused on end‑to‑end supply‑chain coordination for regional retailers and B2B clients. We are expanding our warehouse operations and need a detail‑oriented Inventory Assistant to ensure accurate, real‑time inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily physical inventory counts and reconcile stock levels with the warehouse management system.
• Receive, label, and organize incoming shipments while verifying purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Assist in cycle counting, stock rotation, and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Update inventory records in real time using WMS or ERP tools, maintaining full traceability.
• Prepare pick tickets, pack orders, and coordinate with dispatch teams for outbound logistics.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safety‑compliant warehouse zones in line with UAE standards.

Required profile

• Basic English communication skills.
• Familiarity with UAE warehouse compliance standards.
• Preferable experience in import/export logistics or retail distribution.
• Optional knowledge of Arabic for document verification.
• Valid forklift certification.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) operation.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
• Inventory counting and reconciliation techniques.
• Pick & pack operations.
• Microsoft Excel (data entry, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Barcoding and scanning tools.
