Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

DODO FURNITURES is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join its Dubai team. The role combines inventory management with sales support, ensuring accurate stock records and smooth warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock levels and update inventory records in the system.
• Reconcile physical counts with system data and conduct regular and cycle counts.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, verify incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to optimise stock availability.
• Prepare inventory reports and suggest process improvements.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards within the warehouse environment.

Required profile

• Strong experience in inventory control, inventory management and sales product support.
• Hands‑on experience in shipping & receiving, including verification and documentation.
• Ability to work on‑site in Dubai, handling inventory in a warehouse setting.
• Prior experience in furniture, retail, logistics or warehousing is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field preferred.
• Fluency in Chinese and English.
