iOS Developer – Swift & SwiftUI (Native)

About the role

REAB is a fast‑growing content and community platform that delivers a video‑first mobile experience to a global audience. The company is migrating its mobile app from Flutter to a native iOS architecture and needs an experienced iOS Developer to lead the native side while collaborating with the existing Flutter codebase.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and ship native iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit where needed.
• Drive the migration of screens from Flutter to native iOS, classifying them as native, hybrid or retained Flutter.
• Build and maintain the native‑to‑Flutter communication layer (e.g., Pigeon/platform channels).
• Implement and optimise video and media playback with AVPlayer/AVFoundation.
• Profile and improve app performance, memory usage, startup time and battery efficiency.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, manage offline states, caching and error handling.
• Work with feature flags and phased rollouts for safe incremental releases.
• Maintain high code quality through clean architecture, code reviews, unit/UI tests and CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, TestFlight).
• Handle App Store releases, provisioning, signing and compliance with Apple guidelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional iOS development with strong Swift and SwiftUI experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Flutter, including platform channels and Dart fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of iOS app architecture (MVVM / Clean Architecture), concurrency (async/await, GCD) and the iOS lifecycle.
• Practical experience with AVPlayer / AVFoundation or similar media frameworks.
• Comfortable consuming REST APIs, handling JSON, authentication, caching and offline scenarios.
• Familiarity with Git, code review workflows and CI/CD tools such as Fastlane and TestFlight.
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store, including signing and provisioning.
