About the role
The Islamic Studies Teacher for Arabs will join BEAM Education’s American School of Creative Science (ASCS) campuses in Dubai. The role involves delivering the Islamic Studies curriculum to Arab pupils, linking new concepts to prior knowledge and preparing students for examinations. The teacher will create an engaging classroom environment that supports both academic and moral development.
Key responsibilities
- Link pupils’ existing knowledge to new learning and develop strategies to deepen understanding.
- Assess and record student progress, preparing them for internal and external examinations.
- Facilitate learning by building positive relationships and organizing classroom resources.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Promote appropriate social and life skills according to age, ability and aptitude.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Share’a or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the UAE.
