Islamic Studies Teacher – FS2 & Primary (Dubai)

About the role

English Language Private School in Dubai is looking for a qualified Islamic Studies Teacher to deliver Islamic Education to Arab students in FS2 and Primary for the 2026‑27 academic year. The successful candidate will join a dynamic academic team and contribute to the spiritual and academic development of young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Islamic Education lessons to FS2 and Primary students, following the UAE Islamic Education curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and support personal development.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic staff to align teaching practices with school goals.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications that satisfy KHDA teacher appointment requirements.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching Islamic A to Arab students, preferably in UAE schools.
• Strong proficiency in Arabic and thorough knowledge of the UAE Islamic Education curriculum.
• Experience working with FS2 and/or Primary age groups.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Islamic Education teaching methodologies.
• Familiarity with UAE curriculum standards and classroom management techniques.
