Islamic Studies Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for passionate Islamic Studies teachers, both native and non‑native speakers, to join our growing school community in Abu Dhabi. You will deliver engaging lessons that foster students’ appreciation of the Arabic language and Islamic values across multiple grade levels.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Islamic Studies using the UAE Ministry of Education‑approved curriculum, adapting content for native and non‑native speakers.
• Create an inclusive, supportive, and culturally respectful classroom environment.
• Develop and apply differentiated instructional strategies to meet diverse language and religious backgrounds.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in school events, Islamic celebrations, and Arabic language activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification or licence in accordance with UAE regulations.
• Experience teaching native or non‑native Arabic speakers is preferred.
• Minimum IELTS score of 6.
• Strong understanding of the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
