Islamic Teacher for Non‑Arab Students

About the role

The International School of Choueifat seeks a dedicated Islamic Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum to non‑Arab students. The role focuses on fostering academic success and supporting students to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Islamic studies using provided lesson plans and develop plans when needed, applying the SABIS® point system.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and academic concerns with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Proctor examinations and maintain a proper test environment.
• Provide support and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Perform additional duties such as student testing, substitute teaching, and administrative tasks.
• Participate in student life activities and events in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to enhance understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience.
• Demonstrated accountability and ownership.
• Professional behavior and ethical conduct.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
