IT Administrator – Hotel Technology Support

About the role

The IT Administrator will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the hotel’s technology environment, providing day‑to‑day technical support to hotel staff and maintaining guest‑facing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware, software, applications, network connectivity, printing and mobile devices.
• Support critical hotel platforms such as PMS, POS, Microsoft 365, telephony, IPTV/digital signage, access control and other hospitality applications.
• Assist with servers, virtualization, storage, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, network switches, backup systems and infrastructure monitoring.
• Troubleshoot incidents, coordinate escalations with Marriott technology teams and vendors, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain Active Directory, user accounts, security groups and conduct periodic access reviews.
• Support cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability remediation and compliance audits.
• Monitor backups and participate in business continuity and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, technical documentation and support records.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in IT support, systems or infrastructure administration.
• Experience in a hotel, hospitality or other 24/7 operational environment is highly desirable.

• Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Microsoft 365 administration.

• LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi networking, including network switches.
• Backup systems and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Endpoint protection, patch management and vulnerability remediation.
