IT Infrastructure, End User & Industrial Systems Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a versatile IT Infrastructure & Industrial Systems Support Specialist to bridge enterprise IT and plant‑floor operations. You will provide end‑to‑end technical support for desktop users, industrial network infrastructure, and shop‑floor automation while ensuring seamless integration with SAP Business One and its BCMIX/LABMIX add‑ons.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st‑level support for Windows workstations, peripherals and enterprise applications for office and remote users.
• Administer endpoint management, software deployment, patch management and Group Policy enforcement.
• Manage Active Directory identity services, access control and authentication.
• Support, deploy and maintain rugged industrial PCs, HMIs, touch‑screen terminals and batch‑control workstations on the plant floor.
• Maintain real‑time data flows between BCMIX, LABMIX and SAP Business One, troubleshooting interfaces and backups.
• Diagnose and resolve LAN, industrial Wi‑Fi, VPN and VLAN connectivity issues, including industrial protocols such as Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET and OPC UA.
• Enforce cybersecurity best practices, network isolation, endpoint threat protection and disaster‑recovery imaging for critical workstations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of combined experience in IT system administration/desktop support and exposure to manufacturing or industrial OT environments.
• Hands‑on experience supporting SAP Business One and process‑industry add‑ons (BCMIX, LABMIX).
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, TCP/IP, VLAN segmentation, NAT, VPN tunnels and industrial networking protocols.
