IT Support Engineer – Walk-In Interview

About the role

Thumbay University Hospital is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its healthcare IT team in Ajman. The position involves providing on‑site technical support, maintaining network infrastructure, and assisting with server and virtualization platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, Windows and Linux desktop issues.
• Perform network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and configuration of switches, firewalls and Wi‑Fi access points.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including backup and recovery procedures.
• Support virtualization environments such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Assist with basic cloud tasks on AWS or Azure.
• Track and manage IT support tickets and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, BCA or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in systems and network administration.
• Relevant certifications (Cisco, Microsoft – MCSA/MCSE, CCNA) are mandatory.
• Immediate availability preferred.
