IT Support Specialist – EUC L1 & Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist who will act as an End‑User Computing (EUC) Level 1 engineer and provide basic network support in an enterprise environment in Abu Dhabi. The role combines desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 administration and assistance with LAN/WAN infrastructure, delivering high‑quality service to internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive).
• Manage user accounts, passwords and permissions in Active Directory.
• Perform imaging, deployment and setup of new devices and maintain hardware inventory.
• Support meeting‑room technology, video‑conferencing systems and peripheral devices.
• Log, update and resolve incidents in the ITSM ticketing system while meeting SLA targets.
• Assist with monitoring, configuration and basic troubleshooting of Cisco switches, routers and wireless access points.
• Handle VLAN configuration, basic routing, and resolve network connectivity issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN).
• Support network installations, moves, adds and changes, and maintain network documentation.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in end‑user computing/Desktop support and basic network support.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced onsite environment.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA or ITIL Foundation (preferred).

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 administration.
• Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Basic networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco switches, routers and wireless access points.
• ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira or ManageEngine).
• Printer and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Hardware diagnostics and imaging/deployment tools.
