IT Support Technician

About the role

The Harrow International School Dubai is looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to join its founding team. You will help create a vibrant, inclusive learning environment by providing reliable technical support to staff, teachers, and students.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑user needs and coordinate with service providers.
• Resolve hardware issues and perform software installations.
• Handle help‑desk requests and provide on‑site support to teachers and staff.
• Administer iOS devices and the iOS server.
• Deliver desktop support and troubleshooting for the whole school community.
• Maintain IT equipment such as laptop trolleys, computer labs, auditorium, PD rooms, and boardrooms.
• Oversee printer management, including consumable re‑ordering.
• Undertake computer rebuilds when required.
• Set up and remove IT equipment for assemblies, presentations, and training sessions.
• Perform other reasonable duties as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of school‑based IT issues and regular system updates.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with all staff members.
• Ability to assess hardware inventory and plan for replacements.
• Outstanding organization, interpersonal, calm, and diplomatic attributes.
