IT Technician

About the role

The IT Technician will ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems at La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartment. You will provide first‑line support to guests and staff, maintain hardware and software assets, and uphold the hotel’s IT security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line technical support for hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Support hotel applications such as PMS, POS, guest Wi‑Fi, IPTV, key‑card and telephony solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user incidents promptly and professionally.
• Monitor network connectivity and ensure reliable operation of all hotel technology services.
• Create and manage user accounts, access rights and email accounts.
• Perform routine system maintenance, software installations, updates and security patches.
• Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory and documentation of licenses.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and technical support.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding processes, preparing and recovering IT equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in providing IT support, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining security and compliance standards.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
• Software installation, updates and patch management.
• Network monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
• User account administration (Active Directory or equivalent).
• Experience with hotel systems such as PMS, POS, Wi‑Fi, IPTV and key‑card solutions.
• IT asset management and documentation.
