Joinery Manager

About the role

Al Zan Carpentry Works LLC is seeking a Joinery Manager to lead its on‑site joinery operations in Dubai. This full‑time position will ensure that custom woodwork, furniture, and interior fit‑out projects are delivered on schedule, to specification, and with the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control production schedules across dual shifts.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and contractors to align resources and timelines.
• Review technical and shop drawings, allocate materials, and create clear production plans.
• Supervise workshop staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Conduct quality control checks and enforce health‑and‑safety standards.
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimise delays.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste and boost productivity.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience managing joinery or carpentry operations in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of custom furniture manufacturing, kitchen/home joinery, and interior fit‑out workflows.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in project and operations management, including scheduling and resource planning.
• Relevant technical qualification or diploma in carpentry, joinery, or interior fit‑out.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
