Junior Accountant – Arabic Speaker

About the role

Terracotta is seeking a Junior Accountant who is fluent in Arabic and English to support its finance team in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. This full‑time position offers the chance to work on a variety of accounting tasks in a fast‑paced outsourcing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day accounting activities, including preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and reconcile bank statements.
• Help prepare monthly financial reports, perform reconciliations, and support month‑end closing.
• Verify data accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and coordinate with other departments on invoices and payments.
• Assist with VAT‑related documentation and other finance operations as needed.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferred).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Detail‑oriented, able to meet tight deadlines.
