Junior Accountant – FMCG Trading Business (Dubai)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) trading business, is looking for a Junior Accountant to support the Finance & Accounts department in Dubai. The role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, processing daily transactions, monitoring receivables and payables, and assisting with audit and tax compliance. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions in the ERP system and post journal, payment and receipt vouchers.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, payments and receipts, ensuring proper documentation.
• Process supplier invoices, verify against purchase orders, prepare payment schedules and reconcile supplier statements.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances, prepare ageing reports and follow up on overdue payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations, investigate unreconciled items and record bank transactions.
• Assist with month‑end closing, including accruals, pre‑payments, account reconciliations and preparation of management accounts.
• Support external auditors and tax consultants by providing required documents and schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; no prior experience required.
