Junior Accountant – Sharjah, UAE

About the role

A&S International is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join its team in the Sharjah SAIF Zone. The role involves supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports and assisting with month‑end closing activities. Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of accounting principles and can work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record sales, purchases, expenses, petty cash and bank transactions.
• Reconcile bank, customer and supplier accounts.
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost record maintenance.
• Prepare accounting reports and support month‑end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure financial data is organized and updated accurately.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field with 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
