Junior Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Auditor to join our audit team in Dubai. The role involves supporting external and internal audit engagements for a diverse client base across the UAE and KSA, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute external and internal audit engagements across various sectors.
• Review financial statements for compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify financial or operational risk areas.
• Prepare accurate audit working papers, documentation, and findings for senior review.
• Liaise with clients to obtain supporting documentation and resolve audit queries.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in audit or accounting, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Progress toward professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA) is a plus.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of IFRS and UAE audit/regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with audit or accounting software.
