Junior Buyer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join Noon’s fast‑growing e‑commerce team. In this role you will support the procurement of FMCG and grocery products for our hyper‑local delivery platform, helping to ensure the right items are available at the right price for our customers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vendor selection and maintain strong vendor partnerships.
• Monitor industry trends, evaluate competition and attend major markets as needed.
• Perform weekly stock and sales analysis to align brands with sales plans.
• Review planned deliveries against sales targets, category mix, price levels and stock levels.
• Analyse product pricing to inform strategy and keep spend within budget.
• Negotiate terms with global suppliers to achieve target margins.
• Gather market trend information to guide buying decisions and product performance.
• Identify strong and weak selling items and recommend selection enhancements.
• Secure timely delivery of orders and favorable credit terms with suppliers.
• Ensure accurate replenishment of stock and maximise sales and margins.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Some exposure to the e‑commerce industry.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Strategic commercial thinker with solid analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
