Junior Data Analyst – Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our Operations team in Dubai. The role sits at the intersection of Operations and Marketing, turning raw e‑commerce and advertising data into clean, actionable insights. You will work with our Shopify stores, Amazon marketplace, Meta and Google ad platforms, and a BigQuery data warehouse, using Python to build the data pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python scripts that pull data from Shopify, ad platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads), Amazon, and internal Google Sheets, creating analysis‑ready datasets.
• Write SQL queries in BigQuery to explore sales, spend, and inventory data across DTC and marketplace channels.
• Automate recurring reports and dashboards for Operations and Marketing, reducing manual effort.
• Reconcile numbers across sources (e.g., Shopify orders vs. ad‑platform spend vs. finance sheets) and flag discrepancies early.
• Translate business questions into clear analyses, charts, tables, and actionable takeaways.
• Document data flows and reports to ensure reproducibility.
• Support Operations projects by analyzing processes and identifying improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field (preferred).
• 0–3 years of experience in data, analytics, or operations (including internships or strong personal projects).
• Detail‑oriented and curious about why numbers behave as they do.

Required skills

• Python (pandas, data manipulation, API calls).
• SQL (BigQuery).
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with Shopify data.
• Knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads reporting.
• Understanding of Amazon Seller data.
