Junior Engineer – Installation (Elevator & Escalator)

About the role

The Junior Engineer – Installation supports senior engineers in coordinating and supervising the installation of elevators and escalators on assigned projects. The role focuses on site coordination, technical assistance, progress monitoring, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in achieving installation milestones, quality targets, and customer satisfaction.
• Support site planning, coordination, and readiness activities, ensuring alignment with approved schedules.
• Review construction and shop drawings, technical specifications, and installation schedules to understand scope and sequencing.
• Monitor daily progress, report deviations, and coordinate logistics for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, OEM standards, and method statements during installation.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, authority inspections, and project hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree with at least 3 years of experience in the elevator/escalator industry.
• Familiarity with safety, quality and construction standards and ability to follow them on site.
