Junior Maintenance Technician – Dolly Team

About the role

As a Junior Maintenance Technician with the Dolly team, you will support senior technicians in maintaining a wide range of ground‑handling equipment, vehicles and plant across dnata’s technical workshops. The role combines hands‑on repair work with routine inspections to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily maintenance tasks in your assigned area.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and care for tools and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults on equipment, vehicles and plant to minimise downtime.
• Record all work in the log book and Maintenance Management System.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries and equipment damage.
• Notify senior staff of required spare parts and tools.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance in line with manufacturers’ recommendations, ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment for reliability and safety.
• Execute ULD repair and assembly tasks according to MOE, EASA/GCAA regulations.
• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, GPU, PCA and generator systems.

Required profile

• Completed a 2‑year trade certificate in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in facilities, automotive, electrical, civil or mechanical roles, preferably within aviation ground support or cargo handling.
