Junior OSINT CAT III Linguist (OCONUS)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a junior linguist to support OSINT research and analysis for USAF OSI within the CENTCOM area of responsibility. The position focuses on translation, transcription, and interpretation of open‑source material in target languages at ILR/DLPT Level 3 or higher.

Key responsibilities

• Provide translation, transcription, and interpretation services for multi‑language open‑source content.
• Conduct OSINT research using publicly available media, social networks, and other open sources.
• Analyze and fuse intelligence to identify threats, trends, and foreign intelligence entities.
• Produce threat reports, cultural briefings, and analytical products for AFOSI and supported commanders.
• Support media exploitation reviews and maintain situational awareness of regional developments.

Required profile

• Junior‑level experience (JR) in OSINT and linguistic analysis.
• Proficiency at ILR or DLPT Level 3 or above in English and target language(s).
• Ability to work in a multi‑national team across sites such as Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in both languages.
