Junior Procurement Officer – Automotive (Dubai)

About the role

The Junior Procurement Officer will support the procurement function of a leading automotive company in Dubai. The role involves sourcing materials and services, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs)
• Follow up with suppliers on deliveries
• Coordinate procurement requirements with internal departments
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation
• Coordinate with stores for inventory replenishment
• Assist with supplier evaluation and cost optimisation
• Support ERP/Odoo procurement activities
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures
• Perform other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
• 1‑3 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience
• UAE experience preferred
• Automotive, engineering, manufacturing or industrial experience is an advantage
