Junior Research Fellowship – Remote Internship

About the role

The European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights offers a remote Junior Research Fellowship for an 8‑week internship. This position is designed for students, recent graduates, and early‑career researchers interested in policy, human rights, governance, and international relations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on approved policy, legal, human rights, governance, or international relations topics.
• Prepare research summaries, issue notes, and analytical briefs.
• Participate in online supervision or guidance sessions.
• Draft a research paper, policy brief, or analytical report under supervision.
• Revise written work based on feedback and adhere to academic integrity standards.
• Meet agreed deadlines while working remotely.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral program.
• Background in law, human rights, international relations, political science, public policy, governance, social sciences, economics, or related fields.
• Strong written English proficiency.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to follow research methodology and incorporate supervisor feedback.
