Junior Sushi Chef

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team in Dubai. You will support senior chefs in preparing high-quality sushi and other dishes while upholding our standards of presentation, hygiene and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain mise en place for the sushi station according to the required standards.
• Assist in cooking, plating and presenting sushi dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Run up to two kitchen sections independently when required.
• Collaborate with colleagues across all departments and follow opening and closing procedures, including prep list management.
• Apply portion control and spec knowledge to maintain consistency.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene.
• Willingness to learn from senior chefs and follow established recipes and standards.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
