KG Assistant

About the role

The KG Assistant supports teachers inside and outside the classroom to ensure a safe, productive, and clean environment for young learners. This role involves assisting with daily routines, classroom preparation, and student supervision throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities

• Record children’s attendance and deliver forms to the office.
• Create and display class visual materials, bulletin boards, and games as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain classroom tidiness, including monthly shelf cleaning.
• Reinforce classroom and school rules, and support behavior management.
• File and check reading notes in children’s folders each morning.
• Assist teachers during lessons by keeping children focused and attentive.
• Help correct children’s work and listen to reading practice.
• Prepare and clean up after activities, art lessons, snacks, and lunch.
• Supervise hygiene routines, toilet use, and assist with accidents.
• Oversee outdoor play, nap/quiet time, and morning care supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Non‑native English speakers only.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
