Kitchen Commis (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Commis to join our team at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, a luxury hotel delivering authentic Turkish hospitality. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop culinary skills in a fast‑paced, high‑standard environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Prepare and organise the workstation and mise en place according to daily requirements.
• Check working set‑up and mise‑en‑place of assigned staff.
• Monitor portion sizes and presentation before dishes are passed.
• Assist the Chef de Partie and follow daily specials, promotions and menu recipes.
• Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene standards.
• Report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Hand over duties to the next shift supervisor and perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the culinary field.
• Relevant culinary diploma or certification preferred.
• Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented with reliable and responsible work ethic.
