Kitchen & Laundry Technician

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join the team at Rixos Al Mairid, Ras Al‑Khaimah. The role ensures that kitchen and laundry areas remain clean, functional and compliant with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, clean and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment such as dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and cooking appliances.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitising of all kitchen and laundry zones according to established schedules.
• Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and assist with re‑ordering.
• Store and organise kitchen utensils, linens and other supplies efficiently.
• Carry out routine equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene regulations and assist in training new team members.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance and inventory.

Required profile

• Proficiency in operating a range of kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitising procedures.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and multitasking skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking and lifting for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Food‑safety certification preferred; prior hospitality or healthcare experience is a plus.
