KYC Specialist

About the role

The KYC Specialist will ensure that every new client inquiry is fully verified in line with our Standard Operating Procedures. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, preventing financial crime, and supporting timely proposal and pricing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end KYC verification for all new clients, following SOP step‑by‑step.
• Review e‑questionnaire responses and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Validate company details, ownership structures, and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) information.
• Run sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screenings.
• Flag and escalate incomplete, unclear, or high‑risk files for internal review.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client folders and opportunity trackers with verification status.
• Ensure verification is completed within SOP timelines to avoid delays in proposal drafting.
• Coordinate with pricing and proposal teams to obtain KYC sign‑off before submission.
• Keep audit‑ready records for every client file and suggest SOP improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in KYC, AML or compliance, preferably in tax, accounting or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML regulations and UBO disclosure requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes.
• Good written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
