L2 System Support Engineer – Windows/Linux Server & AD

About the role

We are hiring three L2 System Support Engineers for a leading healthcare client in Dubai. The role provides Level‑2 technical support for Windows and Linux servers, infrastructure applications and overall IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical support for Windows/Linux servers and related applications.
• Troubleshoot incidents escalated by L1/NOC teams and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability and capacity.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user access, permissions and authentication issues.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and network connectivity problems.
• Perform server/application installation, configuration, patching and upgrades.
• Analyze system and infrastructure logs and maintain SOPs, runbooks and knowledge‑base articles.
• Coordinate with L3 teams and vendors for complex technical issues.
• Follow ITIL incident, problem, change and access management processes.
• Support migration, upgrade and transformation initiatives across cloud and virtualization platforms.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in server administration and IT infrastructure support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with L1 and L3 support teams.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, ITIL 4 Foundation.
