About the role
The Computer Information Science (CIS) Lab Assistant supports faculty and students within the CIS programmes at Higher Colleges of Technology. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Abu Dhabi and involves hands‑on work in the college’s laboratories and workshops.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and organise laboratory spaces and workshop areas used for CIS practical activities.
- Install, demonstrate, and configure equipment and facilities required for experiments.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues with lab hardware.
- Prepare the lab for scheduled experiments and practical sessions.
- Collaborate closely with faculty members and students to ensure a safe and functional learning environment.
Required profile
- Ability to work directly with faculty and students in a hands‑on laboratory setting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining equipment in good working order.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and institutional guidelines.
