Landscape Inspector – Softscape

About the role

KEO Group is seeking a Landscape Inspector (Softscape) to join its Dubai team on a temporary basis. The role focuses on ensuring that all soft‑scape works meet contractual specifications, local codes and international best practice, while supporting the overall quality and safety of the project.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action promptly.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes and statutory requirements.
• Report any deviations from approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders.
• Monitor work quality, safety, health and environmental issues on site.
• Maintain daily site records, including progress photos, and make them available for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for identified deficiencies and issue non‑conformance reports (NCR) when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in landscape or soft‑scape inspection and quality control.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications and relevant local regulations.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and communicate findings clearly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.

Required skills

• Competence in reviewing shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of local building codes and statutory requirements for soft‑scape works.
• Ability to produce clear inspection reports and non‑conformance documentation.
