Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our upscale hotel in Dubai. You will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and uniforms are cleaned, maintained and presented to the highest standards, directly supporting guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily laundry cycles for linens and uniforms, following proper textile care procedures.
• Safely handle chemicals and operate industrial laundry equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and report any malfunctions of laundry machinery promptly.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and store textiles according to specific care instructions.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and complete daily checklists.
• Process lost‑and‑found items according to hotel policy.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate logbooks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean items.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience as a Laundry Attendant in a 4‑5 star hotel or similar establishment.
• Vocational hospitality diploma or degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads.
• Basic English proficiency and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
