Laundry Technician

About the role

The Swissôtel Al Ghurair & Swissôtel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is seeking a dedicated Laundry Technician to ensure the smooth operation of its laundry facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining all laundry equipment, handling repairs, and supporting the hotel's overall guest experience through reliable laundry services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all laundry equipment, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and execute emergency repairs in line with hotel policies.
• Maintain security measures by conducting regular counts and patrols of the laundry area.
• Operate equipment safely and in an environmentally‑friendly manner, adhering to health, safety and sustainability standards.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in laundry equipment maintenance, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Mechanical or technical certification is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure as part of a team.
