Laundry Technician

About the role

As a Laundry Technician at Swissotel Al Ghurair, you will ensure the smooth operation of all laundry equipment, handling both plumbing and electrical systems to support the hotel’s high‑volume laundry service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service all laundry machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quick turn‑over repairs in line with hotel standards.
• Respond to equipment emergencies, following hotel policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular security rounds and equipment checks throughout the laundry area.
• Operate in a safe, environmentally‑friendly manner, complying with health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in laundry equipment repair or a similar technical role, preferably in hospitality.
• Mechanical or technical certification is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
