Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer

About the role

Eaton is looking for a Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer to join its Middle East Engineering Team in Dubai. You will drive the hardware technology roadmap for the EMEA PMCC and LSDPI product portfolio, covering PLCs, low‑voltage switchgear, IoT‑enabled devices and other industrial control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the hardware technology roadmap for the EMEA business, aligning with global units and product management.
• Lead hardware engineering activities for new product introductions, technology adoption, PCB modernization, value engineering and sustaining projects.
• Provide technical leadership and conduct engineering analysis, simulations, testing and validation.
• Support manufacturing functions and ensure compliance with quality, cost and schedule targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and product lifecycle management across cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in embedded hardware design and system‑level engineering.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex hardware projects.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost‑effective, reliable solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across global and regional stakeholders.
