About the role
The Finishing Machine Operator is responsible for running and maintaining a range of finishing equipment in a production environment. You will ensure that each job meets the required quality standards while keeping the machines running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and configure automatic die‑cutting, foiling, embossing, Brausee folder‑gluer and bag‑fabrication machines (Champion) according to job specifications and material type.
- Monitor output for binding strength, stitching accuracy, fold precision and cutting alignment, performing visual and manual quality checks.
- Carry out routine cleaning and follow the preventive‑maintenance schedule.
- Identify and report mechanical issues or misfeeds to the foreman or maintenance team.
