Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer to provide advanced engineering expertise for ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role covers FEED, detailed engineering, EPC and PMC phases, focusing on design review, coordination and technical assurance of I&C systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and design review of instrumentation and control deliverables, including instrument index, I/O lists, control philosophies, cause‑and‑effect diagrams, datasheets, hook‑up and loop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC, IEC, ISA and API standards and international engineering practices.
• Review and approve FEED and detailed engineering documents prepared by EPC contractors.
• Coordinate with telecom, electrical, process and mechanical disciplines for interface management.
• Evaluate SIL classification studies, alarm management, cybersecurity requirements and support FAT/SAT activities.
• Manage vendor packages, technical documentation and support optimization of control systems and field instrumentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering within oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience with ADNOC engineering specifications and international codes.
• Strong background in design review, vendor management and multidisciplinary coordination.
