Lead Interface Engineer – FEED/EPC Projects

About the role

The Lead Interface Engineer is responsible for all interface activities during the FEED and EPC phases, both at the home office and on‑site. Acting as the principal point of contact, the role coordinates technical inputs and ensures seamless collaboration among internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders throughout design and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead regular interface meetings between the contractor and Worley, providing updates to the Process/Commissioning Manager.
• Develop and maintain Interface Point registers, manage IP/IQ correspondence and ensure alignment with interdependency schedules.
• Oversee technical integration, including HAZOP reviews for battery‑limit tie‑ins and interface drawings.
• Monitor pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures, ensuring timely review and approval.
• Resolve technical conflicts with contractors, manage engineering change requests and ensure multidisciplinary impact assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, including at least 5 years in the GCC region.
• Proven experience in FEED and EPC phases, managing multidisciplinary interface teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
