Lead Mechanical Engineer – HVAC (Greenfield)

About the role

The Lead Mechanical Engineer – HVAC will provide technical expertise for HVAC design on a greenfield project in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in all HVAC design activities.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor and manage HVAC design and engineering with the EPC contractor to meet project expectations and timelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, EPC contractor, and ADNOC engineering/operations teams to resolve technical issues and maintain quality.
• Perform regular technical reviews of HVAC engineering deliverables from consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality and adherence to standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in HVAC design and engineering.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Ability to coordinate with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical review and quality assurance skills.
