Lead Site Architect – Construction Supervision

About the role

Khatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Lead Site Architect to head architectural supervision for major construction projects in Dubai. You will oversee the execution of luxury villas, high‑rise towers and large‑scale building works, ensuring compliance with design intent and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural site supervision throughout the construction phase.
• Supervise architectural works for luxury villas, high‑rise towers and major building projects.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements and other technical submissions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and produce inspection, snagging and progress reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical and site‑related issues.
• Identify potential delays, quality issues and non‑compliance, and propose corrective actions.
• Respond to RFIs, technical queries and site instructions.
• Guide and mentor site architects and other supervision staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in architecture and building construction.
• Strong background in construction supervision, especially for luxury villas, high‑end residential developments and high‑rise towers.
• Previous experience with a consultant or project‑management organization in a site‑supervision capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to work on Dubai‑based projects is highly preferred.
