Lead SRE / Technology Operations (DevSecOps)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead SRE / Technology Operations professional to own and operate our production infrastructure for a regulated digital‑assets and fintech platform entering a critical launch phase. This hands‑on leadership position works closely with senior technology leaders, security partners and external stakeholders to ensure reliability, security and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own production infrastructure, monitoring, access control and AWS/cloud networking.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible or equivalents.
• Design and enforce IAM/PAM controls, least‑privilege access and periodic reviews.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and approval controls.
• Establish observability across metrics, logs and traces.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, remediation and on‑call processes.
• Define and test backup/restore, disaster‑recovery (RTO/RPO) and failover procedures.
• Coordinate security operations, vulnerability remediation and penetration testing.
• Support audit evidence, regulatory controls and vendor SLA management.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on SRE, DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a regulated fintech, banking, brokerage or payments environment.
• Proven production‑level experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud).
• Strong background in Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible and IAM/PAM.
• Extensive incident management, disaster‑recovery and business continuity expertise.
• Experience working with security teams, SOCs, CISOs or managed security providers.
