Leader, Solutions Engineer

About the role

As the Leader of Solution Engineering, you will head a regional team of Solutions Engineers supporting customers across the Gulf, North Africa and Levant regions, setting technical direction and aligning resources with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Splunk SEs, fostering technical expertise and consistent customer experiences.
• Build trusted relationships with customers by guiding technical strategy at regional and account levels, ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across the Splunk Security and Observability portfolio, leading solution design, architecture discussions, workshops, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Establish consistent technical sales practices across the region, manage team objectives and resource allocation, and act as senior technical escalation point for complex engagements.

Required profile

• 5+ years leading technical sales or Solution Engineering teams focused on cybersecurity or observability solutions.
• 5+ years working with Splunk Security (Enterprise Security, SOAR, UEBA) and Observability (Splunk Observability Cloud, ITSI, AppDynamics).
• Experience in security operations, threat detection, incident response, and digital observability.
• Experience working with customers or leading technical teams in the Gulf and/or NALE regions.
• Expertise in IT Operations, Security Operations, and DevOps practices.
