Learning & Development Director

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Learning & Development Director to shape talent growth within our dynamic real‑estate and property development business in Dubai. The role will drive capability building, leadership excellence, and employee development aligned with ambitious market goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy specific to the real‑estate/property development sector.
• Identify skills gaps across business units and create impactful learning programs, workshops, and leadership initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing L&D team, fostering innovation and engagement.
• Measure program effectiveness using metrics and feedback to ensure tangible business impact.
• Partner with department heads to align learning strategies with organizational objectives.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging learning technologies to introduce innovative solutions.
• Manage L&D budgets, vendors, and external partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of L&D experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, talent development, and leadership frameworks.
• Experience in large, dynamic organisations, preferably within real‑estate, construction or property management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to track ROI and learning outcomes.
