Learning Support Assistant – UAE National

About the role

The Al‑Futtaim Education Foundation is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work across Deira International School and Universal American School in Dubai. The role supports classroom teachers in delivering inclusive, differentiated instruction and helps all learners access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across all subjects and year groups.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives and build confidence.
• Adapt resources and activities to meet the diverse needs of learners in the classroom.
• Assist students with tasks and materials to ensure full participation in lessons.
• Monitor student wellbeing, report concerns promptly, and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Support students during transitions, break times, and school activities as required.
• Collaborate with teachers to prepare differentiated activities and appropriate learning materials.
• Observe and record student progress and contribute to student support plan reviews.

Required profile

• UAE national with a compassionate attitude towards learners.
• Ability to work under the direction of a class teacher and follow school policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, teachers, and parents.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.
